Home Stay Groups

Description

Our culture programme is designed as an easy and fun way for students to learn about Irish history and culture and at the same time, they will practice English whilst living with a welcoming and friendly host family. Students will enjoy cultural activities and trips to some of the most interesting and important parts of Dublin.

The culture programme is suitable for groups of students, from 14 – 18 years old, coming to Dublin for 4-7 days with a supervising adult or education professional.

Groups can choose to have an activity programme arrange for them (additional fees apply) or choose from a list of recommended activities. We are happy to offer advice.

Host Families

Host families are located in the residential suburbs of Dublin city. Travel to downtown Dublin is by public transport and will take between 20 – 40 minutes. All host families will be provided on a half board basis (breakfast and evening meals, plus light snacks). Packed lunches can be provided on request (additional fees apply). The culture programme accommodation is provided on the basis of 2 students sharing per room.

Transfer to and from the Host Families

International Student Accommodation will arrange for all transfers from Dublin airport to the host family and return. This is included as standard in all quotations.

Culture Programme Activities

We can design a set of cultural activities specifically for your group. This is dependant on the age of the group, general interests and overall budget.

The activities combine fun and education, so the students will have an enjoyable time whilst discovering some interesting facts about Dublin’s culture and Ireland’s history. We can arrange for a guide to accompany your group if requested.

Activities range from visits to Dublin museums, full day excursions, fun days out at adventure parks and walking tours of Dublin.

Date: This programme is available from September to June. (Minimum stay 4 days)
