Dublin Bikes – the (almost) free way to use bicycles to travel around the city.

Luas – light rail trams. There are two routes, Green (St Stephen’s Green to south Dublin) and Red (Financial  District to south west Dublin)

Dublin Bus – provides the widest range of service, with routes spread throughout the city and suburbs and Airport.

DART – rail line running along the coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth southwards as far as Greystones, Co Wicklow.

Leap – this public transport electronic card allows you use various transport modes and offers savings on normal fares.

Travel outside Dublin

Irish Rail – commuter train serving small towns to the north, west and south of Dublin as well as mainline trains to Galway, Limerick, Cork, Westport, Waterford and Belfast. Hint: Book well in advance online to save money.

Bus Eireann – Buses to all destinations in Ireland.
